Decorating our homes with flowers is a deep rooted tradition in our DNA.  And this time, I bring you Buganvilla, a flower which decorates many houses and buildings walls in the south of Spain. 
 
When designing this painting, thinking about what summer means for me, I imagined the corner of a swimming pool where many buganvilla petals would have fallen and where these funny characters would spend an afternoon having a good time.
 
Nature is something as neccessary for us as it is enjoyable. Plus, the main focus for the illustrations series I created.
 
Combining traditional techniques as acrilys for the background, watercolours for the petals and ditigal for the characters brings out a very personal and magical result.
